The CODE
Updated: Feb 8

The Warrior is born with Combat Energy. It is either inherited through blood or anointed by God. Regardless of where it comes from what matters most is where it's at and that is within that warrior.
Combat Energy is just as it sounds. Energy for combat. The only additional important thing is that it is not the same energy carried by the norm. It is usually extremely high and spiced with a desire to FIGHT! Masses of children of modern society are filled with Combat Energy and are sadly misdiagnosed as ADD or ADHD and the child is drugged to try and counter this ancient emotional blessing, that is foreign, strange, and even intimidating to our modern manner of laziness, shortcuts, and instant results.
Because the warrior is full of passion, fight and rebellion, he must hold something in high esteem that can keep him (or her) in line when the brain, emotions, and possibly even true righteousness give the green light to issue the physical, no mercy lesson that the person that he is targeting, has probably been deserving for a long time. The warrior will sacrifice self to serve justice on a person if all of the dots line up at that moment. But anything that is done immediately as an emotional reaction is going to turn out bad whether it was the right thing to do or not. The warrior must protect him self from him self. This is where a "CODE" comes in.
The warrior MUST swear a silent secret oath to a Code of Higher Power to serve totally or he risks becoming the type of person that he should be protecting others from. The crucial clause that any Code served by warriors must have is a strict command of selflessness within the warrior who serves it. The divine power of selflessness protects the warrior from succumbing to his own viciousness, and lashing out in self service fueled anger that is determined to satisfy an immediate want of the warrior's emotion at that moment.
The CODE of the warrior is his wise grandfather, keeper, restraint, watcher, and guide. Without a Code, a warrior can easily lose his way and then him self. But the warrior who trusts and follows his Code can never be lost because his Code will always be with him, and his Code is his way.
And THIS, is a "way" of the "Warrior's Code" -Jermaine Andre'
