The Advantage in Disadvantage

Our perception is more powerful than anything that can happen to us.

One man's trash is another man's treasure. One person's failure is another person's success. One fellas loss is another fellas gain. One woman's hate is another woman's love. One individuals pain is another individual's pleasure.

We can see from my example that what truly determines whether something is good or bad is the perception of the person who is facing it. If this is true, it would mean that the experiences of our life that we define as bad, can be defined by someone else as good in their life. And if they can see the good in what we see as bad, we can too. We just have to view it from a perspective that will reveal it to us.

I boldly take this a step further by saying that if we can't discover any good in our bad, we must be courageous enough to create good in it our self. Give it reason to have occurred. Seize control over its purpose and mold it to serve your will instead of allowing it to deplete it.
