"Listening". The UNIVERSAL language.

Here is a chapter from my "Muay Thaiger -The Cub" autobiography that teaches how my choice to "listen" to what a wild, dangerous animal was saying through his behavior, saved his life and probably mine's. While already injured during an intense, life threatening moment, with judging expert eyes staring coldly to witness the inevitable failure of a highly in-experienced me, I did something that was not taught or advised to be done. In truth, what I did was totally opposite of what is taught to be done to avoid serious injury or death. Regardless, I chose to trust my instinct & the wordless communication of an angry, lethally dangerous creature, over a proven effective process of over hundreds of years. But that's because I wanted a result that even my superiors and the experts didn't think could be attained.

What do you think about the way that I handled with this situation with Thunder? Would you have risked serious injury or worse to save the life of an animal? Do you think Thunder obeyed me because he was afraid of me, or because he could feel my concern for him and he trusted me? This was an incredible moment between man and beast that taught me much about communicating with other human beings.
